This year, many developers want to learn Go, a programming language from Google. Go is used by many large systems such as Netflix, Salesforce, Twitter, Uber and more.
Go is an open-source programming language that makes it easy to build simple, reliable and efficient software. It is similar to C but adds memory safety, garbage collection, structural typing and CSP-style concurrency. If you're looking for a developer job or something else in the IT Sector, view our open jobs now.
A survey by HackerEarth which surveyed 16,655 developers in 76 countries showed that this was the most sought after programming language in 2020. The survey also revealed that 70% of developers wish for fewer meetings in their workplace, along with other demands such as a more tidy workspace and multiple computer screens.
The top 3 most important benefits for developers discovered in the survey included good career prospects, technical challenges and interesting projects along with good compensation for their hard work.
